ChillPAC packaged ammonia chillers: Sabroe ChillPAC packaged ammonia chillers based on reciprocating compressors feature a unique design. It includes fully welded plate heat exchangers as well as pre-formed pipes. This minimises any risk of leaks and provides a much greater degree of safety and reliability.

PAC chillers with screw and reciprocating compressors: Sabroe packaged ammonia chillers (PAC) based on screw and reciprocating compressors provide notable benefits when indirect cooling using a secondary refrigerant is required. The advanced technology ensures high energy efficiency as well as low running costs and makes them the cheapest option over the lifetime of a refrigeration plant.

CMO single-stage reciprocating compressors: Sabroe CMO compressors are ideal for use in smaller industrial and marine refrigeration installations in which reliability is a crucial concern. The well-proven Sabroe SMC 100 range consists of fifteen different models covering capacities of between 226 and 1357 m3/h swept volume at 1500 rpm maximum speed. They can be used with NH3, and in high-stage or booster operation.

HPO/HPC high-pressure reciprocating compressors: The Sabroe HPO/HPC range is a unique high-pressure compressor design. It is widely used in conjunction with ammonia heat pumps, and has also become very popular due to the resurgence of the use of CO2 as a refrigerant. In ammonia heat pump installations, Sabroe HPO/ HPC compressors are often employed to produce hot water at temperatures up to 70°C at very low cost.
