APPLICATIONS + POLICY

This year several new forms of applications using ammonia have been tested or already implemented. Ammonia used in small capacity systems as well as in very large heat pumps are some of the most promising developments.

With the F-Gas Registration deadline going by in July this year in Europe and the US administration seriously considering proposing an amendment to the Montreal Protocol to include the phase-out of HFCs, there was a lot happening this year in the ammonia world that proves a worldwide raising interest in eco-friendly and efficient ammonia technology.
