Gold Partner MYCOM Mayekawa has added its first series of products to ammonia21.com. The J-Series screw compressors optimised to use R717, cover a wide application range and are compatible with the natural refrigerants ammonia, carbon dioxide, or hydrocarbons.

MYCOM’s new J-Series screw compressors provide highly efficient operations in a wide capacity range that could not be provided by conventional screw compressors. The compressors’ state-of-the-art design includes a new rotor lobe profile (J-profile) for higher efficiency and lowest noise, as well as capacity control and Vi control valves mounted on the compressor to keep the compressor unit simple and compact. At the same time, MYCOM’s newest R717 product series, designed for pressures of 3.5MPa to cover a wide range of applications, features a long shaft life of over 40,000 hours. Infinitive capacity control is provided by a slide valve (25 – 100%).

The J-Series, incorporating the three models 170JS, 170JM, and 170JL, can be used with the natural refrigerants ammonia, CO₂ and hydrocarbons. It is especially optimised to maintain its high efficiency under NH₃ refrigerating conditions.
