News > Events News All about the natural refrigerant ammonia (NH3) in cooling & refrigeration: News, Products, Jobs, Events, Knowledge, Forum, B2B Networking.Following last week’s article presenting a first set of the products showcased at the 2009 IIAR Industrial Refrigeration Exhibition last week, this final article provides an overview as well as an image gallery of ammonia refrigeration products by several other companies active in the sector. ![]() VILTER new VSSH series single screw compressor VILTER: VILTER presented its VSS single screw compressor, a rotary, positive displacement compressor which incorporates a main screw and two gaterotors. It further presented its new VSSH series single screw compressors for differential pressures of up to 600 PSI. The new high pressure heat pump screw compressor models VSSH-291 and VSSH-341 have frames constructed of cast steel, which make them capable of operating with ammonia at condensing temperatures up to 195˚F. HANSEN: HANSEN showcased its STW series strainer, as well as HS4W and HS8W solenoid valves. It further presented AUTO-PURGER PLUS, a totally automatic, electronically controlled non-condensible gas (air) and water purger for reducing the energy costs of operating an ammonia refrigeration system. Finally, HANSEN showcased its gas leak detection sensors. evapco: evapco showcased its SST series industrial evaporators with stainless steel coil as well as its SST-R series of reduced height industrial evaporators with stainless steel coil. It also presented its PMC-E evaporative condensers. AIR: The industrial plant operator AIR (American Industrial Refrigeration) provided information with regards to its engineering and design-build services for industrial refrigeration systems. Frick: Frick presented its RWF II rotary screw compressor, engineered and manufactured to meet industrial refrigeration requirements, for applications such as blast freezing, food tempering, cold storage etc. It further presented the Quantum LX control panel, its advanced screw compressor control centre, a quantum leap over competitive microprocessors panel powered by a high-speed PC-based processor. GEA FES, Inc.: GEA FES presented GFORCE, its new microprocessor control technology. |
